Kai van Westering is a Dutch-American backstroke specialist representing Team NL – PSV. Born in San Sebastián in 2003, he competes across the backstroke distances and holds an Olympic medal from his participation in international competition. Van Westering has returned to the Netherlands to pursue his elite swimming career with the Dutch national federation.
