The dates for the next three editions of the Swimming Trials have officially been confirmed. In the coming years, the event will once again serve as the decisive qualification moment for Europe’s, the world’s, and the Olympic stage — combined with the Dutch National Long Course Championships.

2026 – European Swimming Trials

2–5 July 2026
In 2026, athletes will compete for qualification to the European Long Course Championships in Paris. The European Swimming Trials will determine which swimmers will represent the Netherlands on the continental stage later that summer.

2027 – World Swimming Trials

16–20 June 2027
The 2027 edition will focus on qualification for the World Championships in Budapest. During five days of top-level racing, swimmers will battle not only for national titles, but also for their place on the world team.

2028 – Olympic Swimming Trials

14–18 June 2028
In 2028, everything builds toward qualification for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The Olympic Swimming Trials will be the ultimate stage where dreams of Olympic participation become reality.

All three editions will be combined with the Dutch National Long Course Championships, creating one high-level event where national titles and international qualification are decided in the same arena. This unique format guarantees packed stands, fast racing, and an electric atmosphere every year.
